Alvaro Llambrich hitting a backhand during a tennis session

I'm Alvaro. I coach tennis across Dubai — sixty-minute sessions built around your level, your goals, and the way you actually learn.

Alvaro Llambrich training on a clay tennis court

I grew up competing in tennis in Spain. Junior tournaments first, then national events, and later some ITF qualifying draws.

Competing taught me more about coaching than any course did. You learn quickly which habits survive a tight set and which ones fall apart, and that is most of what I am looking for when I watch someone play.

What I care about in a session is simple. I want you to leave understanding something you didn't understand when you arrived. We'll work on details — your grip, your timing, where you're standing before the ball is hit — but the point isn't to collect corrections. It's to get to a place where the right shot is the one you reach for without thinking about it.

Inside a session

Sixty minutes,one court,and a plan.

A session is sixty minutes on court, and the court is already booked and paid for — you turn up and play. I bring rackets and balls if you don't have your own.

The first one is mostly playing. I need to see what you actually do when a point is live, not what you can do when you're fed a ball from a basket. By the end we'll have talked through the two or three things that are costing you the most, and you'll know which one we start with.

How I work

What a blockof sessionslooks like.

Most players book a single session first and then take a pack once they know how they want to work. If you do carry on, this is roughly how it goes.

  1. 01

    We find the real problem

Not the one you think you have. Players usually arrive convinced it's their backhand, and it turns out to be where they're standing two shots earlier. The first session is for finding that, and for being honest about it.

  2. 02

    We drill it under pressure

Once we know what we're fixing, we repeat it — and then we make it harder. A shot that only works when you're calm and the ball is where you expect it isn't fixed yet.

  3. 03

    We take it into points

I'll play with you, and we'll correct decisions while the score is moving. This is the part most coaching skips, and it's the part that decides whether anything we did actually shows up in your next match.

What we work on

These are the areas a tennis session can cover. Which ones we spend time on depends entirely on what I see when you play.

Every rate includes the court, and prices are per player unless stated otherwise. Prices change with the venue because the court costs more at some clubs than others — the session is the same wherever we play.

Start with a single session

Single sessions are paid on the day and never expire. There's no pack to buy before you've been on court once, and no membership of any kind.

What happens after you book

  1. 01

You message me on WhatsApp — your level, which sport, and roughly when you'd like to play.

  2. 02

I come back with a court and a time that works, and tell you what to bring. If you don't have a racket, I'll bring one.

  3. 03

You pay at the end of the session. If something comes up, let me know 24 hours before and we'll move it.

Booking & packs

  • Single sessions are paid on the day and never expire.
  • Packs are prepaid and priced per session.
  • Give at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule.
  • Later than that may count as a used session, because the court is already paid for.
  • If I cancel, we reschedule with no penalty.
  • Group sessions need at least 3 players.
07

Before you book

QuestionsI get asked.

I've never held a racket. Is this for me?

Yes. Starting with a coach means there's nothing to unlearn later, and a first session with a complete beginner looks completely different to one with a club player. We'll spend it on the basics without rushing them.

Is the court included?

Yes, in every rate on this page. The one exception is coaching on a court of your own, where the price shown is for the coaching and I'll confirm any travel fee before you book.

Why do tennis prices change by venue?

Because the clubs charge different rates for the court, and some are much harder to get a slot at than others. It isn't a difference in the coaching — same session, same coach, wherever you choose.

Do I need my own racket?

No. I'll bring rackets and balls for a first session. If you decide to keep playing, I'd rather help you pick a racket that suits your game than have you buy the one in the shop window.

Can my partner and I book together?

Often it's the better option. Semi-private works out cheaper per player, and there are things we can only work on with two of you there — who takes the middle ball, when to switch, how you cover the court as a pair.

What if I need to cancel?

Twenty-four hours' notice and we'll move it, free of charge. Later than that and it may count as a used session, because the court is already paid for. If I'm the one who has to cancel, we reschedule with no penalty.

How do I pay?

[FILL] — confirm payment methods: card, bank transfer, or cash on court.
